Fresh Sushi, Flavorful Grill
We are a fusion restuarant – we offer both sushi and international grilled dishes full of flavor. We have fresh fish delivered daily - including salmon and tuna, so our sushi (although limited in selection) is high in quality. Our grill features great items for those not interested in sushi, so we have something for everyone.

Creative Cocktails, Music and Atmosphere
Our full service bar is the center-point of our floor, and we treat our cocktails with the same respect as our food items. We squeeze fresh lemons and limes every day, and many of our cocktails have muddled mint leaves, cucumbers, blueberries and more. Our four flat screen televisions will be showing either sports or great music videos (or both). Dinner, music and drinks – there is not better place to start out your night.

SakiTumi's Dragon Room – Perfect for ALL Celebrations
For groups of 10-15 people, SakiTumi features the "Dragon Room," a semi-private room beside the bar that features a large table surrounded by leather benches and a 50" flat screen tv for sports or music videos. On Friday & Saturday nights, SakiTumi offers free valet parking on Gervais Street. In addition to our valet parking, we have a parking lot immediately behind the building (you must drive down the entrance alley way, the landscaped alley way is the exit). This lot is available for our customers after 5pm. Other parking options include: Parking garage on Lady Street/Washington Street, Lady Street (take the alley by The Woody as a shortcut to SakiTumi) Lincoln Street and Gervais Street.

Brief History
SakiTumi was created by three University of South Carolina alumni in 2006. We were the first high-energy Asian fusion restaurant in the capital city, and the first sushi restaurant in the heart of the Vista. We are located in the back of the historic Dupree Building (built in 1904) and we have dedicated ourselves to continue to provide our customers with a high quality restaurant experience. Current ownership/management includes one of the original owners, Dave Shaw, joined by Jimmy Waters (Operating manager) and our executive chef Richard Kuk – both of whom have been with the company since 2011.
